Bedroom Decorating Ideas

The bedroom is my favorite in the house. It is my little sanctuary that gives me a simple retreat, a place where I can be myself and simply enjoy any given day. I am planning to have some changes in our room before the year ends. I want to have a fresh look in our room by 2012. Here are some of my simple bedroom decorating ideas:

- Place a new decorative mirror. Mirrors create an illusion of space, and having one in our room will certainly make it appear bigger.

- Color it bright. Bright Colors gives a happy and cheerful atmosphere , something that I want to start of my year.

- Place a framed picture in the headboard.

- Lastly, buy a new bed. This is the most important part. Our bed needs replacement now and I guess this will be my first step in the whole bedroom renovation. Finding the perfect bed may not be an easy task, but thanks to some online furniture stores, it makes everything a lot easier, I even save up on gas since I don't have to leave the house to look for some items.
