Maintaining a well- organized medicine cabinet will help you respond to your needs quickly. I have learned about this when my sister suddenly had a minor accident in the kitchen and I panicked, I had a hard time looking for the plaster and Betadine in our cabinet. Well, it is for the reason that my cabinet is not that organized. Here are some helpful tips that I found online on How to Organize your Medicine Cabinet. You can click at the source link for the complete and detailed article.
Use small plastic canisters to hold tweezers, nail files, scissors and disposable shavers. In this way, all these small items will be collected and put in one container where the items can be easy to find. It also encourages a user to place an item back where it was taken.
Arrange items inside the medicine cabinet by size - tall ones at the back and smaller ones in front. Place frequently used items in another section or use plastic removable trays, organizers and boxes for other items.
Check sun blocks, insect repellants, aspirins and other stuff that have expiration dates and throw away those that have expired, even if they are unused.
Place a list of emergency phone numbers for physicians, hospital and pediatrician on the inside of the medicine cabinet door.
