a place called home . . .

Decorating a girls room has always been a dream for me. I am one of those who are not into the modern princess theme , nor I am into something really colorful. There's nothing wrong with those themes, but I'm just not a big fan of that. I want something with a relaxing feel that is still touching a girl's world. It has been my idea to decorate a room in the house with a shabby chic mood. I love how the light colors blend well with each other, creating a really nice atmosphere around the bedroom. The colors, furniture, accessories.. everything is shabby chic!

My dream is now materializing. My sister will stay with us for an indefinite period of time while she finish her studies in a college near our place. I want her to feel at home since I miss her so much. This is one way where I can return the favor to her . She was always here for me through thick and thin. So I asked her if she wants to have a Shabby Chic room, and she said yes immediately. I hurriedly switched on my laptop and visited The Bella Cottage Website. Oh how i love that site! Everything I need for the bedroom is already there. Key furniture, beddings , lightning, almost anything you can imagine is there. I was too excited that I ordered a few things already. The shabby chic frames are great pieces to hold my sister's travel pictures. It comes in three colors, and getting the three is perfect for display. I know how she enjoys displaying photographs. I also checked out some shabby chic desks. She would definitely need a desk to do her paper works, but I didn't ordered one yet. I just got her some beddings too. I was eying a lot of items already but i need to consider my budget, so I need to scratch off some of it now. Hopefully , the room will really turn out good.
